Bollywood star and Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty have a perfume in her name. Shetty launched her new fragrance named ‘S2′ at the Courthouse Kempinski Hotel in London on Tuesday, which is said to reflect her Indian Heritage. Shilpa considers her new scent to be a ‘cut above the rest’ in the never-ending sea of celebrity fragrances.

She said,

The perfume is truly unique because of the whole edge we have with the ethnic aroma to it, we have an amalgam of jasmine and citrus and it’s a very strong aroma.

The perfume is aimed for the international market, she said,

Jasmine is very common in India but difficult to find abroad.

Shilpa also enters the list of celebrities who have their own fragrances. Some of them include Kylie Minogue, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton.

After launching the scent, the actress is also planning to launch her own clothing and jewelry line. Not only this, she is also currently planning to open a restaurant in the UK. Shilpa said,

It has already become my second home whether I like it or not because the reception I receive from people here has always been so overwhelming, so warm, that only makes me come back more and more for more.

UK-based Space NK, the highly discerning chain of luxury beauty boutiques is now coming to USA with its eclectic mix of the most popular and must-have beauty items.

UK beauty store, Space NK opened its first U.S. flagship store in New York at 99 Greene Street in Soho. Space NK founder and trendsetter Nicky Kinnaird said,

We held back opening in the U.S. until we were in the position to launch in a meaningful way, rather than just dip a toe in. We had to build a team that was completely indoctrinated into the Space NK world-our uncompromising service standards, the essence of who we are, and our core beliefs.

Space NK that has already transformed United Kingdom’s beauty shopping landscape (52 stores since 1996), will feature a 2,000 square foot selling floor showcasing more than 50 select specialty brands, including several exclusive skincare brands never before available in the US, as well as facial treatment rooms.

Kinnaird will also introduce the American Web site and the store simultaneously, and has plans to open four more stores in the New York metropolitan area within the year, and then to roll out nationally.

The Space NK signature fine fragrance collection, developed by Nicky Kinnaird and Christopher Sheldrake includes Space.NK.Woman, a more complex floral Oriental scent, and Space.NK Melodrama, a floral chypre, Space.NK.Man, a woody Oriental, and Space.NK.Men Blue, a clean, fresh, aromatic citrus scent to round out the portfolio.

This is the fragrance named Stoned created by the renowned perfumer Lynn Harris of Miller Harris for Solange Azagury-Partridge, who is a London based jewelry designer famous for her iconoclastic approach and unique combinations of stones.

The scent contains the top notes of honeyed citrus and heady flowers, rose and jasmine. The heart is dark and warm, with labdanum, treemoss and heliotrope creating a sumptuous, enveloping effect, which adds an extremely attractive retro quality to the fragrance.

Kate Moss is all set to follow the footsteps of fellow supermodels Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford, as she will launch an exclusive fragrance range. This can be foreseen a step ahead in which she plans to move beyond her old profession of modeling.

The 33-year-old model is hoped to release her fragrance ‘Kate by Kate Moss’ in Marrakesh with the Babyshambles frontman by her side. The perfume is a collaboration between Moss and the French renowned perfume company, Coty Inc and helped Kate learn a lot about smell of various scents. She describes the new scent as she said:

When I put it on I want to feel fresh and light and as the day goes on I want to feel sexier.

From many years Kate had dreamt of associating herself with a perfume as she added:

I’ve thought of doing for a long time, but it just never felt right. It felt natural to take the next step.

She is trying to overcome her past relationship with Pete Doherty, who breached her trust when he fell for a brunette named Lindy.

Kate’s debut fragrance with Coty will be launched in Europe and Asia in September whereas its U.S. launch has been scheduled for next year.

Anniversaries are a reason to celebrate but when it is for an international brand as Cartier they need to give people something to celebrate about. Having completed ten successful years of Declaration - A lumber and cedar cardamom-based fragrance for men’s skin, it is now available in a limited anniversary edition. The new scent set to launch in July will be called Mustang after the car that symbolizes the spirit of today’s man: strong, confident and driven. Mustang for men is characterized as a ‘rugged oriental’ with top notes of lavender, ginger and lemon, a heart of pipe tobacco and cedar wood, and a dry down of amber, fir balsam and patchouli. The scent will be come in three sizes ranging from $22-$32 and will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml.

The bottle is simple and sleek, but masculine in shape. The outer packaging is a graphite metal reusable ‘Collector’s Tin’ with the iconic Pony logo.

Manhattan perfume house introduces ‘Coney Island,’ the new fragrance for this summer. Laurice Rahme, president of the company, Bond No. 9, which specializes in mostly Manhattan-themed fragrances, said the marketplace encouraged the creation of the new fragrance. Bond No 9’s Coney Island contains the sugar-cool notes of margarita mix, hypnotically seductive chocolate and caramel and cedar wood. The high-voltage blue bottle meant to remind the sea and sky and the gold neck depicting electric lights lit up Coney Island.

Coney Island has been released on June 1st and will be available at all four Bond No. 9 stores, at selected branches of Saks Fifth Avenue , and at Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Paris Gallery, Lane Crawford. To own this new scent you’ll have to shell $180 for 3.4 oz. bottle. You can even buy 1.7 oz. travel size for $125, by the ounce for $40, or in a 2 oz. spray flacon for $25. Coney Island is a unisex scent created by the perfumer Michel Almairac.

Here is the new fragrance-Ghost Anticipation for women. This fragrance is ‘inspired by the feeling of anticipation before the beginning of an enchanted night out’ comes from the house of Ghost. The fragrance consists of Cranberries, Blood Mandarin, Violet, Peony, Orange Flower, Mauve Freesia, ‘Chocolate Lovers’ Orchid, Blond Woods and White Amber.
