Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has teamed up with designer Kenneth Cole to produce a men’s fragrance called, R.S.V.P. The fragrance is retailing only at Kenneth Cole New York retail stores and Saks Fifth Avenue. The ace rocker played his all time favourites like ‘Living On A Prayer’ to celebrate the launch of the fragrance, the proceeds of which will be utilized for the welfare of homeless. The sexy rocker is featuring shirtless in the new commercial of the cologne.
I think what Jon is doing is terrific, and he’s a guy who thinks about what’s going on in the world,
said Howard Stern, who attended the launch show with girlfriend Beth Ostrosky. Also present in the high profile event were David Schwimmer, Richie Sambora and model Petra Nemcova. The event is known to have raised $1 million for habitat for Humanity, Help USA and The Philadelphia Soul charitable foundation.
Fashion designer Cole is also designing and launching black leather Bon Jovi jackets with rocker details, like lace-up zippers and shirt-detailing.
They’re Jon’s jackets. We found an archival photo of a jacket that he’s worn over the years. One is leather, a little rock and roll, the other is cashmere-wool. But it’s all Jon,
says Cole. The proceeds from the sale will benefit Help USA, a national not-for-profit organization for the homeless.
