David Beckham’s Instinct claims to be ‘a masculine, sexy, exceptional fragrance for the modern man.’ With input from Beckham’s wife Victoria, the team at fragrance powerhouse Coty developed Instinct, a citrus-infused fragrance for men.

Recommended for daytime wear, the rugged, brisk scent begins on a spiced citrus breeze of Orange, Mandarin and Italian Bergamot, with the middle notes of Cardamom, Red Pimento and Star Anise intensifying the blend. Patchouli and Haitian Vetiver, which are classic citrus accompaniments, warm the airy blend and the fragrance finishes off with White Amber.

The smooth glass bottle feels firm in the hand, and is capped with a magnetic cap that closes with a satisfying click. Meant to mirror Beckham’s strong character, Instinct is a rich, balanced scent; it’s a formula for success on any playing field.

The ‘Genie in a Bottle’ fame recently announced her next venture. Aguilera is now partnering with Procter and Gamble Prestige Products to create her own line of perfumery.

Christina said, ‘ I love trying new things in my music and in fashion. To have a perfume of my own is the beginning of an exciting adventure. Procter and Gamble is the ideal partner for this new experience.’

The yet unnamed perfume is expected to be available by the end of the year. However, it is not yet known if she will be venturing for any other beauty product or not.

The pop tart is following the ‘in’ trend of launching a perfume line as has been successfully done by Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, David and Victoria Beckham, Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue.

The market is as it is overflowing with celebrity fragrances, so I’m unsure if this one will create any waves.
