Twenty-six year old Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen is the new face of cosmetic giant Cacharel’s new fragrance ‘Liberte.’ Bundchen has signed a multi-million dollar deal with the company. Alexander Keller, a spokesperson for Cacharel Perfumes Germany, says, Gisele Bundchen embodies perfectly our fragrance Liberte. She stands for the freedom and independence of young women. Supermodel Bundchen signed the new deal after she parted her ways from lingerie company Victoria’s Secret. The 26-year old will appear in ads for the fragrance in all media, magazines, billboards and television. Perfumers Domitille Bertier and Olivier Polge developed this new fragrance described as an ‘orange chypre.’ The notes include orange, white flowers, bergamot, vetiver and patchouli. Yes, you got me right! David and Posh have just launched their own brand of perfumes called ‘Intimately Beckham’. The brand will have perfumes for both the sexes. The perfumes will be available from next month. The scents will sell for $25 to $55. When it was asked to Posh that what makes these different from other celebrity perfumes, she said, why is this different from any other celebrity fragrance? The fact that (I) have spent a lot of time checking all the details. We are not just saying. We are celebrities, put our name on it. I love to be involved with the whole process. Canadian country artist Shania Twain is set to launch her new fragrance ‘Shania Starlight’. The singer’s website describes this new scent as an evening fragrance that captures Twain’s glamorous and sensuous side. The first scent created by the star was daytime scent called Shania by Stetson, meant to celebrate her ‘western chic’ style. Shania, who was once a Revlon spokesperson, stated that creating scents has been an educational experience. While talking to CMT she said, I learned a lot about scents… about zoning in on what I really love, what I like, because I haven’t really thought about it so deeply before. I never had to decide what my favorite scents were. I basically just went into the shops, sprayed things on… liked it or didn’t like it. So I did learn a lot from the first fragrance, and I would say I even learned more with the second one because I had to dig deeper. This latest perfume will hit stores in September. Source
