Rocker Jon Bon Jovi has teamed up with designer Kenneth Cole to produce a men’s fragrance called, R.S.V.P. The fragrance is retailing only at Kenneth Cole New York retail stores and Saks Fifth Avenue. The ace rocker played his all time favourites like ‘Living On A Prayer’ to celebrate the launch of the fragrance, the proceeds of which will be utilized for the welfare of homeless. The sexy rocker is featuring shirtless in the new commercial of the cologne.

I think what Jon is doing is terrific, and he’s a guy who thinks about what’s going on in the world,

said Howard Stern, who attended the launch show with girlfriend Beth Ostrosky. Also present in the high profile event were David Schwimmer, Richie Sambora and model Petra Nemcova. The event is known to have raised $1 million for habitat for Humanity, Help USA and The Philadelphia Soul charitable foundation.

Fashion designer Cole is also designing and launching black leather Bon Jovi jackets with rocker details, like lace-up zippers and shirt-detailing.

They’re Jon’s jackets. We found an archival photo of a jacket that he’s worn over the years. One is leather, a little rock and roll, the other is cashmere-wool. But it’s all Jon,

says Cole. The proceeds from the sale will benefit Help USA, a national not-for-profit organization for the homeless.

It’s the season of love. And if you’re a die hard romantic, you’re probably ‘in love with love’ too.

And what says ‘love’ better than a heavenly fragrance? Well here is the scent of love for you- I LOVE LOVE by the Italian design house Moschino.

Inspired by the brand’s classic perfume ‘Cheap and Chic’, the lively new fragrance takes into a magical world of brilliant bright colors that sweep you off your feet with the citrus sparkles of Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit and juicy Red Currant.

The heart of the fragrance hypnotizes with the fresh and dewy touches of Lily-of-the-Valley, Bulrushes, Tea Rose and the warmth of Cinnamon Leaves, while the base leaves you mesmerized with the scintillating notes of Musk, Tanaka Wood and evergreen Cedar.

The bottle reflects the pop influences on the brand just like its famous predecessor Cheap and Chic, with the orange cap and the sky-blue, orange and yellow graffiti print, while the silhouette takes inspiration from Olive Oyl, Popeye’s girlfriend.

P.S. it really goes well with a fun, romantic (not mushy) evening at the beach.

Price: $23.75 / 1.7 oz

A fragrance that explores the fantasy and attraction between men & women, it has heady emotion and sensuality interlaced with a witty touch.

Elizabeth Arden PROVOCATIVE WOMAN arouses emotions and incites desire. It brings out the side of a woman that is ever-present, but not always seen.

Confident and alluring, the PROVOCATIVE WOMAN is comfortable in her own skin. She leaves a lasting impression on those around her. Impulsive and seductive, she looks for a fragrance that delivers the same unexpected sexiness.

A perfume that celebrates the audacity, mischievousness and sensuality in every woman, the fragrance was inspired by the bewitching charm of actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.

For the campaign, she poses in a super-sexy evening gown, walking barefoot across a stretch of water in the middle of Manhattan.

The tagline reads, ‘Men will melt.’ No doubt about it, Provocative Woman is a perfume that will seduce impulsive, self-assured women who love to be the center of attention.

Exotic chilled Quince combines with the scents of Water Lotus and Ginger Lily to incite the senses as the captivating medley of Midnight Orchid, Papaya Blossom and Pink Freesia exhilarates the emotions. The modern floral sophistication yields to the unusual warmth of White Sand, Red Amber and Hinoki Wood in an ultimate fusion of desire and sensuality.

The bottle is inspired by the sensuous curve of a woman’s back and features a dramatic sweeping arch and an aubergine highlight. Its surprising curves and the glass’s deep-purple highlights make it stand out. The highly visual black case - embossed with purple-and-silver holograms - is noteworthy too.

Euphoria Blossom is a fresh and luxurious floral bouquet. Inspired by the sensual fragrance of Euphoria, this creation unfolds its petals one by one. The frosted, translucent bottle evokes the radiance of a delicately blossoming flower.

Euphoria Blossom is a fresh and airy reinterpretation of Euphoria, but whereas the original Euphoria was inspired by the richness of the Black Orchid, Euphoria Blossom draws upon the delicacy and crisp freshness of the white orchid for its floral inspiration.

A tender and airy ode to orchid, Euphoria Blossom, like the original Euphoria, starts with sweet fruity notes of Kumquat and Pomegranate. But the sweetness is considerably toned down and accented here with sparkling citrus notes. The “dewy green accord” is more noticeable simply because it has less competition for attention, and it smells more like a simple (and very fresh) floral with Orchid, Lotus Blossom and Pink Peony dominating. The base here is relatively quiet, with none of the creamy richness of Euphoria, just a mild little blur of Blond Woods, White Amber and Frosted Musk.

The bottle has a flowing design, sheathed in rose-petal pink frosted glass and topped with a translucent, rectangular cabochon cap.

Calvin Klein’s new fragrance ‘Euphoria Blossom’ comes in the full range with 30ml Eau de Toilettes starting at £25.00.

Nina Ricci invented Nina, for a ‘young woman living under a lucky star’.

A fairy-tale fragrance in a love-apple shaped bottle, the sophisticated fragrance was created in 2006.

‘A magical elixir’ with sweet, fruity and mouthwatering waves of scent, Nina by Nina Ricci is great for all occasions as it gradually releases its magic notes.

The perfume, deliciously inspired by the red toffee apple, with tender flesh and a crisp outside to tempt and charm, starts on a sparkling and spontaneous note like a burst of laughter, with citrus flesh heightened by the freshness of Calabrian Lemon and Caipirinha Lime.

Blossoming into a juicy, caramelized heart, the original, mouth watering charm of the Red Toffee Apple mixed with Praline and an infusion of Vanilla, and wreathes a delicious veil around the Peony petals and Moonflower, exuding soft delicate scents.

As it ripens into a gentle embrace of smooth and reassuring Applewood, you can feel the White Cedar sensually swathed in soft Musks.

The crystalline apple-shaped bottle is as raspberry-pink and bright red as a candy apple. As fascinating as a jewel, as attractive as candy, the lovely round form holds a real promise of enhancement and magical temptation.

Enhanced with a vibrant red halo, the fruit is finely decorated with silver leaves and stem. A jewel of a bottle reinterprets the shapes of an earlier Nina Ricci perfume: ‘Fille d’Eve’ (Daughter of Eve) designed in 1952 by Nina Ricci.

Launched in 1997 as a floral, oceanic fragrance, HUGO Woman is certainly distinctive and unusual, fresh and floral but sharp at the same time.

It is everything that the new woman is: independent of mind and means, smart, confident and irreverent.

The head note begins with the fresher scents which evaporate at the quickest rate. The immensely attractive scents of Wet Moss, Apple, Cyclamen, Melon, Peach, Aglaia and Odorata tug at your heart but a percentage of it disappears after a few minutes.

At the heart of the fragrance lie the sweeter, warmer scents of Water Hyacinth, Jasmine and Lily which tend to linger longer than the top note.

Sandalwood, Amber-like Motes, Vanilla, Cedarwood, Orris, Balsamic and Resin make up the dryer, spicier scents of the base that take the longest to evaporate and so can sometimes last all day.

Shaped like a water flask used on safaris or adventure trips, the bottle is timeless and practical.

HUGO Woman’s feminine interpretation of irreverence in a bottle is completed by the red strap that attaches the champagne colored metal top to clear glass.

Insolence by Guerlain represents modern femininity: daring, unpredictable and free. The fragrance is modern, feminine and graceful.

Created by Maurice Roucel, this modern, fruity, floral fragrance brings out three facets of insolent femininity, beginning with extroverted and daring sparkling violets that segue into brilliant and voluptuous glints of red berries and finish with lingering sensual and radiant rays of iris.

In a break away from the traditional pyramid structure, Insolence is contructed around the first olfactive spiral. Rather than a slow progression from head to base, the notes spiral and continue to circulate so that your favourite notes remain prominent from flight to finish.

The perfume is fronted by actress Hilary Swank, in keeping with Guerlain’s stated aim “...to attract women who like Guerlain, but don’t feel ready for it yet, which translates into a younger target...”

Not an unsophisticated fragrance, the perfume boasts of a base that is a lovely, rather dusky blend of Vanilla and Sandalwood, and once the top notes calm, Insolence is not overly sweet with a curious blend of Violet, Raspberry, Red Fruit Pulp, Rose, Orange Blossom, Iris, Tonka Bean, and Musk.

The ultra feminine and sophisticated bottle has been created like a work of art by French sculptor Serge Mansau.

Promising to be a unique composition of amorously infatuating notes, the first personal smell of Christina Aguilera brings back the glamour of the 20’s.

Designed in the announced Retro Look and coordinated with her personal aura and current music style, the fragrance is set to provoke and connect equally.

The elegant and feminine Parfum will be created for the ‘Beautiful’ singer by Procter and Gamble Prestige Products.

Though the exact composition of the perfume is still kept under wraps, its been revealed that the scent carries surprisingly fruity notes of plum and peach in the head note while they meet an intensive floral from jasmine and lily of the valley in the heart note. Harmonious chords from Sandalwood and White Musk in the rear round off this extravagant composition.

Aguilera said:

I love trying new things in my music and in fashion. To have a perfume of my own is the beginning of an exciting adventure. Procter and Gamble is the ideal partner for this new experience.

The fragrance is expected to hit stores later this year. With her own personal fragrance, Aguilera is following in the successful trend for celebrity fragrances.

Giorgio Armani introduced Acqua di Gio in 1996. The fragrance is sensuous and sparkling and conveys a masculine aura of marine notes, herbs and woods.

Inspired by a Mediterranean island refuge, it captures the essence of paradise. Energizing, stimulating, it expresses a healthy sensuality, an authentic and serene virility. Its complexity, however, suggests a subtle personality full of nuance.

The fragrant trail, particularly lasting and memorable, adds a very pure element of mystery, intangible warmth. A light, distinguished eau de toilette inspired by the fresh sea, warm sun and the richness of the earth.

This aquatic, aromatic fragrance opens with a splash of fresh, Calabrian Bergamot, Neroli and Green Tangerine like a powerful sea-breeze that subsides into a very natural harmony of water, flowers and fruit. In the top note, the citrus zest is dominated by a surprising and intense note captured in all its vivacity thanks to the head space technique.

At its heart, the aquatic, pure and limpid notes are tinted with floral nuances Jasmine Petal and Rosemary full of light and transparency create a masculine scent that is both fresh and sensual. Its delightful aroma consists of Lavender, Juniper, Freesia, Cumin and is accented with Ylang-Ylang, Sandalwood and Amber.

A zest of Persimmon gives it fruity momentum, a very masculine freshness. In the bottom note, the warm accents of Patchouli mix with the intimate vibrations of Cedar and Rockrose.

The bottle is defined by the simple purity of its shape, with a roundness that gives a sense of softness in the hand. Its frosted glass feels warm and sensual, yet hints at the freshness of the liquid within. A fragrance of contrasting sensations, Aqua di Gio for Men is an aquatic-woody-musk scent.
